The van gets a 160-watt, 7-speaker audio system as standard across all trims except for the top-of-the-line Elite trim that gets a 550-watt, 11-speaker audio system. The other trims of the van however do get a better and larger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display as standard. The 5-inch display is a tad bit small and not the most intuitive to use but you can still live with it. The van comes with a 5-inch infotainment display that sits in the center of the dashboard. The standard infotainment setup offered with base spec LX trim of the Odyssey is quite decent. How good is the 2022 Honda Odyssey’s infotainment system? The Carnival is a brand new offering for 2022 replacing the Sedona and features fresh new design and equipment that’s simply a notch above the competition. In terms of overall design and opulence, we found the Kia Carnival to be better than the rest. The Chrysler Pacifica on the other hand is the most spacious van in the competition and offers slightly more passenger room than the rest of the competition. The Toyota Sienna is the only minivan in the competition that has 8 seats as standard while all the others offer 7 seats as standard with the base spec trim level. As standard with the base spec LX and EX trims, the interior is offered in just black color while all the other trims are offered with grey and black interior color scheme options. Everything in the cabin is made out of good quality materials and the level of fit and finish is also decent. The Odyssey isn’t a luxury vehicle but Honda hasn’t employed cheap and flimsy bits to cut costs. Overall, the interior of this car looks very updated and it’s a great looking car.Honda has always done a neat job when it comes to the quality of materials. The magic slide in the second row is amazing and don’t even get me started on the car seat set up. You just can’t beat the size which is why so many families end up switching to the dark side. The one thing that makes a minivan so great is the amount of space it offers. The real attraction is in the interior! Interiorįor the driver seat break down, we love a door cup holder and this car has plenty of cubbies that hold all of my water bottles in almost any size. Overall, it’s a minivan and the exterior can’t really get much better than this. That means these are on all the time! The wheels look nice and I like the colors that this van comes in. Let's start with the exterior! I made this one short because well it looks like a minivan, but if we start with the front end we do have some pretty led daytime running lights. We are reviewing the Honda Odyssey Elite trim level and this one has an msrp of 48 thousand dollars. It has storage, cubbies and cupholders for days, easy access to the third row, a great carseat set up, ample trunk space, and a removable middle seat! Say what you will about the exterior but the interior and functionality of the Odyssey is what makes it such a popular family vehicle. The functionality of this van is hard to beat. It was clearly built with families in mind. The Honda Odyssey is a fantastic hauler for any family.
