I said something to the staff at which point they said they were fully booked and offered free breakfast or 50$. Our room beds were awful lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. The Waterpark Is pretty great and that's the only reason this wasn't a 1 star review. Bonus- we hit the rainforest cafe on our way out, it’s right around the corner! More Show less All in all, it was worth it & it was a fun time for the price we paid. My tips on this would be get a souvenir cup and fill it up as often as possible, bring as many drink & snacks as you can, & if you have to order food there, go for a pizza if your on a budget! #2 is we would have never played the arcade games and taken our kids to cash in their tickets if we had known that you are unlikely to have enough to buy anything! The ticket prices are completely ridiculous. We were so hungry at one point while swimming that we got some food at the restaurant there in the waterpark and is was over $60 for a cheeseburger combo, 2 hotdogs, & a nacho (that’s only one drink). Our family tried to bring as many snacks with us as we could but mind you there is no microwave in your room. My only complaints would be #1 the food is astronomically high. Everything is digital, room keys & payments are scanned from your wrist band. There are many amenities & things to do, as well as places to eat infuse the resort. We were able to score a Groupon & decided to go on a Thursday night because the low price could not be beat! We had a great time & tried to enjoy a little bit of everything the resort had to offer. We went to the great wolf lodge for my daughters 6th birthday & the 5 of us stayed in a junior cabin suite. In the Sandusky Ohio lodge, Totem Towers are separate from Fort Mackenzie. The Tipping Bucket is also located in this area as well. At the bottom of the slides are waterfalls and tons of kid-powered spray effects which are controlled by those going up Fort Mackenzie. The slides help to get those who climbed up Fort Mackenzie to descend back to the main waterpark area. They can be found at all Great Wolf Lodge locations. Totem Towers are a set of two body slides which are connected to Fort Mackenzie.
